Each quilt is designed to showcase those sweet little outfits you’ve been saving, the ones tied to your favorite memories. This style features borders around each square, making every piece of clothing stand out beautifully and giving the finished quilt a slightly larger, framed look.
Your quilt is fully customizable — you choose the border and backing fabrics, and I’ll bring it all together with care and attention to every stitch.
How it works:
1. Choose your quilt size.
Select your preferred size from the drop-down menu based on how many clothing items you’d like included. Each square is typically made from one piece of clothing, but I can adjust as needed — using both the front and back of garments, piecing smaller items together, or cutting multiple squares from larger onesies (usually size 6 months and up). Receiving blankets can also be included!
2. Ship your clothing.
After your order is placed, I’ll send you my shipping address. You’ll cover the cost of mailing your items to me, and I’ll cover the cost of shipping your finished quilt back to you. Please be sure all clothing is freshly washed before sending.
3. Choose your backing fabric.
You can select your preferred color or pattern, or I can send fabric suggestions once I begin your quilt. Minky fabric is also available for an extra soft and cozy finish!
4. The quilting process.
Each piece is carefully cut, stabilized (to prevent stretching), and pieced together into your quilt top. It’s then layered with batting and your chosen backing fabric, and quilted with an all-over meander pattern that gives it a soft, crinkled texture once washed. The quilt is bound with a machine-sewn trim for a durable finish.
